Achievers International is an online enterprise project for students, encouraging them to understand international trading. A group of students and their teacher form a company, and import and export goods with a partner school overseas. Students gain an insight into how businesses are formed and managed, and increase their awareness and understanding of other cultures and citizenship. It provides a practical learning context for teaching business studies and modern languages, and promotes development of ICT skills. |

The Eridge Trust |
The Eridge Trust is a charitable trust whose purpose is to encourage young people to enjoy and appreciate visual art, especially painting. The Eridge Trust makes grants to schools, colleges and others for school trips to museums, galleries and centres of art at home and abroad. Grants are also made to UK museums and galleries for projects aimed at young people. The Trust hopes that its grants will help to give students, from primary school to college and university, new and exciting encounters with art, and awaken them to the lasting pleasures to be had from pictures and sculpture. Youth Challenge Fund |
The new Youth Challenge Fund is designed to give young people the opportunity to enhance their international experience and intercultural awareness in a creative, practical and enjoyable way and to maximise the impact and sustainability of UK-German youth contacts. This pilot programme is open exclusively to youth groups (and their leaders) in the UK and Germany and is aimed at children and young people up to the age of 25.
