The rock group Tokio Hotel has become one of the most successful young German acts of the 2000s. Formed by brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz, they had their first number one hit with the single Durch den Monsoon ('Through the Monsoon') in 2005. At that time they were still only 16 years old! It was followed by two further number ones, Rette mich ('Rescue Me') and Übers Ende der Welt (released in English as Ready, set, go).

In June 2007, the band released their first album in English. They have built up a fan base in the UK, France and Italy and often tour throughout Europe and the world.
