Our first day in 'Schule an der Kleiststraße' in Oldenburg
On our first day in school we were welcomed with a little celebration.
The headmaster of the school made a speech about school life. The school choir sang a song called Happy and the pupils of second grade performed a little dance.
After the celebration we went to our classroom with our teachers. We chose our places and got to know the names of our classmates and teachers.
Then our parents had the opportunity to take some pictures of us in the classroom.
After the celebration and the first lesson we went home with our families and there we opened our Schultüten. In the Schultüten there were sweets, little presents, for example a bracelet, a flashlight, a book, and tools for school (pencils, a rubber, a ruler, a paint brush ...).
