Blowing out the eggs
In order to decorate the eggs, you need to get the inside of the egg out without breaking the shell! It sounds difficult but it really is quite easy. Simply blow it out!
For this you will need:
- a needle or a pin
- a bowl
Using the needle, poke a small hole in the narrow end of the egg and a slightly larger hole in the other end. Move it around a bit to make sure you tear the membrane (the rubbery layer) which surrounds the inside of the egg.
Holding the egg over the bowl, blow through the small hole. The egg will slowly be forced out via the larger hole and should end up in the bowl.
Don't throw the inside of the eggs away! You can use them for a nice omelette, or for scrambled eggs.
