Make your own teddy bears' market stall! - Part 1
Ben and Alex, the UK-German bears, are always hungry. That's why they have decided to set up their own market stall, full of fresh food!
You can make your very own model of the teddy bears' market stall. Then, why not practise selling the things on the stall in German?
Alex has written down some simple instructions in German for you underneath each picture. Don't worry if you don't understand everything - there are useful words and phrases at the bottom of the page to help you.
You will need:
The finished Bärenmarkt stall
- A cardboard box
- Scissors
- Glue
- Sellotape
- Colouring pencils / pens
- Coloured card / paper (optional)
- The printed templates for the bears and the food items (see below)
Before you start, make sure you get an adult to help you!

Step 1
Drei der Klappen abschneiden.
Take your box and cut off both of the short top flaps and one long one. You'll need them later.
Step 2
Schneiden und falten.
Cut down two of the corners of your box and fold down one of the long sides.
Step 3
In der Mitte schneiden.
Cut down the middle of both of the short sides, almost to the bottom.
Step 4
Die Seiten zusammenfalten.
Fold together the two sides so they meet in the middle and tape them together.
Step 5
Die Teile falten.
Take the short top flaps you have cut off. Fold the pieces to make 'v' shapes.
Step 6
Die Teile in die Pappkiste stellen.
Put the two 'v' shapes at the back of the cardboard box.
