Karneval assembly

For teachers
Are you celebrating Karneval with your pupils? Why not send us a picture and brief description of your Karneval activities, and we'll feature them on the website as a useful example for other teachers.
Five project tips
- If you have a partner school in an area in which Karneval / Fasching is celebrated, ask them to send photos of their children's costumes.
- Does your town have a carnival? Swap pictures and descriptions of carnival / Karneval with your partner school.
- Design a Karneval costume with your pupils on paper, and get them to name the pieces of clothing / colours in German.
- Karneval face painting - a fun activity for practising colours.
- Karneval teddy bears - pupils make a Karneval costume for their teddy and describe the colours / pieces of clothing in German.
