How the game works
It is a team sport and it works like this:
There are two teams. Each team has six outfield players and one goalkeeper.
The players pass and bounce a ball and try to throw it into the goal of the opposing team. The team with the most goals after two 'halves' of 30 minutes wins.
Handball is fun to watch and play, because it’s fast and the teams score lots of goals.
Kids love to play it, and it is taught in many German schools.
