He has lots of new friends, learns more German words every day and does fun things all the time! On Wednesday he even was at the local fire station with the class 3b!

Friday Fun with Alex

Today Alex has joined in with our Welsh lesson. He has enjoyed learning to speak Welsh. He loved listening to our Welsh Eisteddfod song 'Sospan Fach'.
He was so busy yesterday, he forgot to mention that he had been to the Valentine's disco with all his new friends in Year 3.

Great fun learning about Alex's family.

Today we had lots of fun learning about Alex's family. We were able to talk about our family using German. Alex helped Ariana and Annabelle to learn to play the harp. We won 40 points playing the family quiz. Yay!!

Ben arrived in Forsbach and met his new friends of the class 3b. They gave him a warm welcome!
Ben told us a lot about himself and we talked about our favourite hobbies.

Today, Ben will stay with one of his new friends, so he won't feel homesick.

On Wednesday night I (Mia) took Alex home for dinner. We had waffles, fish fingers and peas. Meine bruder helped Alex to eat, it was funny. Then we played with the trains and then we were tucked up in bed.

We have created patterned table cloths, party hats and baked a special birthday cake. We all enjoyed the tea party and then learnt how to do the Bavarian dance!

Creating gifts for Alex

The children designed their very own special gifts for Alex. They then used various materials to make them. Each child presented Alex with their gift and explained to the other children how they made them. These are his gifts for his birthday.
