ST. MARTIN'S DAY

A German festival with many lights ...

Have you ever heard about St. Martin's Day? On November 11th every year, children in Germany build colourful lanterns and walk around their villages, singing songs about St. Martin. Sometimes there are white horses involved, too! In the end there is a big fire and everone gets a 'Martinsbrezel'.
