Today Alex arrived at Wymeswold Primary School. He was very shy when he came out of his suitcase. That afternoon we had the first German lesson from Alex. He told us how to say "I am" and "I am from...".
Our teacher Miss Cheal helped us sound like we were real German people. Alex also told us how to sing in German. He showed us his photo album with the pictures of his family.
He told us the German words for mummy, daddy, brother, sister, granddad and grandma. After school Alex chose to stay at Tristan's house.

When Miss Cheal gave Alex to me I was thrilled. I really like Alex and I hope he likes me! I went to the park with Alex and we went down the slide and on the swings. Alex loved it.
When we got home Alex had a cuddle with my cat Mimie. For dinner we had tortellini and raw carrots.
When Alex got tired I read him a story. In the morning I got ready for school and Alex tucked into a bowl of cereal!

When Alex came around to my house I introduced him to my bears Abbie and Ribbon. Then we watched a DVD which was about a zebra who wanted to be a race horse. Alex said he wanted to be a 'teddy-bear racer', but Abbie the other bear said there was no such thing. Alex was a bit upset, but cheered up when my Mum brought in a plate of his favourite marshmallow cakes.
The next day I had my birthday party and, of course, I invited Alex! In the morning Alex had to have breakfast very quickly, because my guests had already arrived! We went bowling! The ball was very heavy for Alex, but he still managed fine. For my birthday lunch we had chicken sticks, a slice of watermelon and strawberries. Alex also tried my birthday cake. In the afternoon he watched me open my presents and he played with me and my new toys.
