Jack and the farmerThe next morning, Jack is going to the market when he meets a farmer.
"Good morning," says the farmer.
"Hello," says Jack.
"Are you going to the market?"
"Yes," says Jack. "I 'm going to sell this cow."
"What good luck!" says the farmer. "I want to buy a cow."
"Great" says Jack. "Is £10 OK?"
"Wait!" says the farmer, taking some beans from his pocket. "Look at these."
"Are they beans?" asks Jack.
"Yes." says the farmer, "they are the best beans in the world! They are magic beans. Plant them tonight and tomorrow they will grow, up to the sky!"
"Hmmm. Really?" says Jack.
"Yes. It's true", says the farmer with a smile.
"OK. It's a deal!" says Jack.
