Host a Teacher from Germany - applications now open

Strengthen the international dimension across your school! Welcome a teacher from Germany to any department for 1, 2 or 3 weeks at a time that suits you.

"Having German teachers in our school gave our children a real insight into Germany's culture."

Deadline: 26 July 2018 to host this autumn and 21 September 2018 to host in spring or summer 2019.

Cultural Heritage through the lens!

To celebrate the European Year of Cultural Heritage we are inviting young people to submit videos in answer to the question:

What does cultural heritage mean to you?

Cultural Heritage through the lens

Together - a UK-German Centenary competition

Looking for a creative challenge for your pupils this summer?

Led by Never Such Innocence, this arts project invites young people to produce poetry, art, or songs on the themes of hope and unity, inspired by the shared history between the UK and Germany to mark the WW1 Centenary.

Funding is available from UK-German Connection for joint preparatory workshops.
